This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which squarefeetconnect, operating as an intermediary between property buyers, sellers, investors, and registered developers/builders, collects, uses, stores, shares, safeguards, and disposes of personal and confidential information. By accessing our website, communicating with us digitally or physically, or availing our services, you acknowledge and consent to the practices described herein. SquareFeetConnect acts as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, in respect of personal data collected directly from clients and users.
As part of our real estate advisory and brokerage services, we may collect personal, transactional, financial, and property-related information necessary to facilitate property discovery, due diligence, documentation, site visits, negotiations, financing assistance, and project coordination. The information we collect may include, but is not limited to, Aadhaar, PAN, photographs, proof of funds, bank statements (when voluntarily shared), property documents, sale deeds, agreements to sell, allocation letters, builder-buyer agreements, invoices, and communication records knowingly shared with us for service-related purposes.
Lawful Basis for Processing
Personal data is processed based on explicit consent provided by the Data Principal, or where such processing is necessary for the performance of requested services, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate business purposes permitted under applicable law.
Information is collected through multiple channels, including our website, WhatsApp, email, phone calls, physical meetings, referral partners, and authorised third parties. All information is collected with knowledge and consent, and processed strictly for legitimate business functions such as identity verification, property validation, documentation, transaction assessment, loan coordination with banks/NBFCs, and communication with developers, lawyers, or authorised service partners.
Children's / Minor Data
Our services are not directed at individuals below 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data of minors. If such data is inadvertently collected, it shall be deleted upon verification.
We store information on secure digital platforms including Google Drive, Office 365, Cloud Services, Email Servers, and CRM Systems, with access restricted to authorised personnel only. We do not sell, rent, or commercially exploit personal information. Information may be shared with builders, banks, loan agents, legal advisors, valuation professionals, or government authorities strictly on a need-to-know basis or where legally required.
Certain cloud service providers engaged by us may store data on servers located outside India. Such cross-border storage is undertaken only with service providers implementing reasonable security safeguards, as permitted under applicable law.
We operate under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023 and implement reasonable organisational and technical safeguards to prevent unauthorised access, alteration, loss, or misuse of data. These measures include access controls, encryption (where applicable), restricted sharing, internal confidentiality obligations, and time-bound data retention. To the extent permitted by law, SquareFeetConnect shall not be liable for breaches caused by third-party service providers, cyber incidents beyond reasonable safeguards, or disclosures mandated by government or judicial authorities.
In the event of a personal data breach, SquareFeetConnect shall take reasonable steps to contain, assess, and mitigate the impact and notify affected parties and authorities where legally required.
SquareFeetConnect does not engage in automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with regulatory, taxation, audit, or dispute-resolution requirements. Typical retention periods may range between 3 to 8 years depending on the nature of the transaction. Data not required is deleted, anonymised, or archived securely. Clients may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent, subject to legal and contractual limitations. Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to continue providing services.
By interacting with us, you authorise SquareFeetConnect to communicate with you via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or phone for transactional updates, verification queries, project information, and service coordination. Clients may opt out of promotional communications at any time. Transactional and compliance-related communications may continue where required.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to update this document to reflect changes in law, regulation, technology, or business practices.
Data Handling
SquareFeetConnect follows an internal Data Handling Standard Operating Procedure ensuring purpose-bound and secure utilisation of confidential information. Access is granted strictly on a need-to-know basis to authorised personnel and partners.
Documents are stored on secure cloud platforms with account-level and device-level security. Document sharing is limited in scope, purpose, and validity.
No employee or partner may download, duplicate, or forward documents unless authorised and recorded. External storage devices are prohibited.
NDA with Vendors / Partners
All third-party vendors are bound by Non-Disclosure and Data Protection obligations prohibiting unauthorised use or sharing of client information and requiring breach notification within 48 hours.

SquareFeetConnect has appointed a designated Grievance Redressal Officer for DPDP compliance and client data concerns.
